At Clinton Art House, children are encouraged to create, explore, and grow in a warm and inspiring studio environment. Through drawing, painting, and mixed media, students build strong artistic foundations while developing confidence, focus, and creative expression.

Each class is thoughtfully designed to feel both engaging and meaningful — with hands-on projects, beautiful materials, and plenty of room for imagination. Children learn new techniques, experiment freely, and feel proud of what they create.

For many students, art class quickly becomes their favorite part of the week — something they look forward to and talk about long after class ends. They leave excited about what they made and already counting down until they can come back the following week.

Why This Class?

This class is designed to help children develop true artistic skills through hands-on exploration, creative play, and guided instruction. They’ll learn to observe, create with intention, and express their ideas through visual language.

They’ll learn a lot and have fun doing it — with exciting projects, inspiring artists, and a space where they can be themselves.

What Your Child Will Learn

  • 🖌️ Drawing Skills

    From pencil to charcoal, children explore line, shading, proportion, and composition — learning how to truly see and draw what they observe.

  • 🎨 Acrylic, Watercolor & Mixed Media Techniques

    Kids gain hands-on experience with color mixing, layering, brush control, and texture using professional painting methods.

  • 👩🎨 Inspiration from Great Artists

    Each month, we focus on different artists and art movements, helping students build visual vocabulary and connect their own artwork to the rich history of art — all in a way that’s engaging and age-appropriate.

Class Format & Grouping

Classes are designed to feel welcoming, creative, and age-appropriate for every student.

Our youngest artists enjoy smaller groups and 45-minute sessions. Older children are grouped by age, with classes limited to 12 students.

– Ages 6 and up: up to 12 students • 1 hour

Your tuition reserves a space in a consistent, small group designed for focused learning.

Please Note:

Tuition is monthly and holds your child's spot, even if they miss a class.

If a class needs to be canceled, a make-up session will be scheduled at the end of the semester.

If your child needs to withdraw, please provide at least 2 weeks’ notice.
